4-5-1 Shoot On Sight Formation to Beat 4-3-3(B)
In this article, I am gonna talk about 4-5-1 formation to beat weaker 4-3-3(B). This formation is one of my special formations to play in OSM 22/23. This formation is very similar to 4-2-3-1. Instead of a defensive midfielder of 4-2-3-1 formation, we are gonna use 1 attacking midfielder with 4-5-1 formation.
First, we have to analyze our opponent’s squad before playing this formation. We should avoid this tactics if opponent is playing with--
- Long ball
- Offside Trap
- 3-4-3(B)
If the opponent is not playing with these you are good to go.
Squad:
You must put one striker in the front.. You have to put a defensive midfielder in the CDM position (sometimes higher rated CM can be played in this position). In the two CM positions, you can use two CM or one CM with a CAM with highly rated.You have to put a right mid in RM position and a left mid in the LM position.If you don’t have any RM/LM you can put defensive midfielder or central midfielder to these positions. You must put 2 CBs in two CB positions, a left back to LB position and a right back to RB position. You can use CB in LB or RB positions too. You must put our highest rated goalkeeper in GK position. Always try to put the players in their right position.

- Midfielders:Stay In Position
- Defenders: Defend Deep

Tackling
- Green: Reckless/Aggressive
- Blue: Aggressive
- Yellow: Normal
- Orange: Normal/Careful
- Red: Careful
Explaination:
In this tactic, the players will play with a bit of an attacking mindset. Whenever your player will get the ball they will slowly pass the ball to the other players and build an attack by passing. Whenever the players get the ball in a shooting position they shoot on goal. And whenever your player loses the ball, they will defend. In these tactics you will be able to shoot many on goal, but there will be a lower conversion rate.
