OSM Tactics: 4-3-3(A) Wing Play

4-3-3(A) Wing Play Formation to Beat Weaker Opponents

This formation is one of my favorite formations to play in OSM 22/23. It is very similar to 4-3-3(B) but instead of a defensive midfielder, this formation uses one attacking midfielder. However, before using this formation, it is important to analyze the opponent's squad to make sure they do not play with--

• Counter attack
• Offside trap
• Zonal Marking

Squad:

You must put one striker, one left wing in the left and one right wing in the right in front. If you have 2 strikers and a winger, then you have to put the winger in his preferred position and the higher rated striker in ST position and the lower rated striker in the other winger position. You have to put an attacking midfielder in CAM position (sometimes higher rated CM can be played in this position). In the two CM positions, you can use two CM or one CM with a CDM with highly rated. You must put 2 CBs in two CB positions, a left back to LB position and a right back to RB position. You can use CB in LB or RB positions too. You must put our highest rated goalkeeper in GK position.

Tackling

• Green: Reckless/Aggressive
• Blue: Aggressive
• Yellow: Normal
• Orange: Normal/Careful
• Red: Careful

Explaination:

In this tactic, the players will play with an attacking mindset. Whenever your player will get the ball they will quickly pass the ball to the wingers and start an attack to score goals. The midfielders will push forward to score goals when the ball is with the winger. And whenever your player will lose the ball, they will immediately try to gain the ball with a high level pressing. In this tactics you will be able to score many goals with weaker opponents.
